The future of VR is bright. Virtual reality headsets are becoming increasingly affordable. Now the VR technology has come a long way over the last eight years. So, VRGineers is asking for the feedback from their audiences on a “Gaming Edition” of their ultra-high end XTAL system. As new XTAL’s headsets have reduced the price, while promising “no blurring”with headset’s new-and-improved 180 degree field of view. Excitement for virtual reality came to its first crest when the earliest consumer machines were introduced in the 1980s and 90s. The prototype systems helped establish the idea of what a VR system looks like, and inspired several movies, books, and music videos to boot.

Virtual reality is the term used to describe a three-dimensional, computer generated environment which can be explored and interacted with by a person. That person becomes part of this virtual world or is immersed within this environment and whilst there. He is able to control the objects and can perform a series of actions to determine what happens in the environment.

XTAL Headsets

The current XTAL headset has planned for enterprise, priced at an amazing $5,500. The headsets have 2560×1440 OLED panels with a field of view claimed to be around 180°. Besides that, it offers eye tracking which enables its automatic mechanical IPD adjustment feature as well as built in Leap Motion optical finger tracking. Besides that, XTAL identifies the eyes and automatically adjusts the lenses for optimal image quality and VR experience. Great if you need to switch users often.

Earlier VRgineers changed the trends of VR industry, when it released XTAL, the first headset with specs advanced enough for aerospace prototyping and military simulations. Which offered 2.5K displays for a total of 5K.

Now, using the most advance tech, additional development there are an even more advanced version of XTAL Headsets. These lenses incorporated proprietary non-Fresnel lenses that deliver the clearest, most immersive VR experience to date.  Not only these, but has ability to provide solutions which only use a subset of the display. Thus, XTAL utilizes every pixel of the display to improve panoramic immersion.
